Job Description

Director of Product

Our story:

Blackpanda is Asia's premier cyber security incident response firm, hyper-focused on digital forensics and cyber crisis response. Our team consists of an elite cadre of risk and security experts from various specializations, military special forces, intelligence, forensics, and law enforcement. We are also a fully distributed team across the globe and will be there 24/7 to help if a breach occurs.

In addition, Blackpanda successfully closed a $ USD Series A co-led by global leading private equity firms Primavera Venture Partners and Gaw Capital Partners.

What we are looking for:

Technology is at the heart of what Blackpanda does, and is looking for a Director of Product who thrives on being able to lead and develop a suite of products that work hand in hand with our service offerings.

Leading the Product pod within the Technology vertical, you will own Blackpanda's products throughout the respective lifecycles - from concept through discovery, development, release, and ongoing improvement. When you first come on board, there will be one significant project to lead from the ground up, with a secondary product currently in MVP stage to lead through respective new versions. From thereon, Product offerings will be initiated, led, and prioritized through your collaborative work with our Services, Insurance (our insurance arm Pandamatics Underwriting), and Sales verticals.

Blackpanda is venture-backed and is poised to win a major new space in the cyber risk, cyber security, and cyber insurance markets. You will be right in the middle of the action and have the remit to create incredible, forward-looking digital products for the APAC market, backed and supported by domain knowledge experts within the company.

Perhaps you are a senior engineer leading a team, looking to make the full-time switch to product with CPO aspirations? Or perhaps you have led the product side of a series of software initiatives in a different field and taking on a new challenge in cyber security excites you? Whilst you should have 3-5 years of senior experience already, we do not have a predetermined journey you should have walked to get here. Please get in touch if the above sounds like you!

- You are passionate about digital products and the cyber security landscape - helping 'every company' in (J)APAC stay protected against cyber threats excites you.

- You have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of software product management experience. B2B SaaS product management and/or management consulting experience will be considered a plus, as will any previous professional software engineering experience within a company.
