KEY ACCOUNTABILITES

Delivering Sales

• Deliver AUM and Sales target for Singapore Retail business
• Responsible for growing book of business with assigned accounts which will include Regional Private Banks, Retail Banks, Platforms, Financial Advisory firms, Robo Advisors and digital channels, widening and deepening relationships with them to include more product, funds and capabilities
• Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing distributors and identifying potential distribution partners with the aim of increasing Eastspring market share.
• Responsible for driving sales activities and putting in place sales initiatives which may include but not limited to the proactive, creative and ongoing contact initiatives intended to identify the fund support needs of these relationships
• Run sales campaign to increase sales of existing approved funds with clients
• Create sales strategy for all types of distributors by identifying key focus products for the team.
• The KPIs include sales/AUM/activity targets, P&L and distribution growth.
• Oversees sales activities and support relating to ILPs/PACS.

Internal Collaboration/Coordination

• Day to day management of retail sales team members.
• Work closely with portfolio management, product specialists, client service, operations, and product management to co-ordinate marketing, sales & support services for the assigned accounts.
• Simultaneously work with local teams to drive sales / demand in these funds when funds are successfully on-boarded
• Provide market intelligence to help guide retail strategy, current product enhancement efforts, as well as new product initiatives
• Work closely with private bank sales representative with the common goal of growing the retail distribution footprint where overlap exists
• Partner with marketing to generate ideas on the production of marketing materials for Eastspring funds
• To ensure sales activities are conducted in a compliant manner in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Management of relevant budget for driving all sales activities.

Client Service

• Key account manager for identified accounts.
• Work in close partnership with various internal teams to deliver high quality service experience to clients
• Coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure expedient and accurate resolution of all client inquiries

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of sales coverage and experience in Singapore retail sales
• In depth knowledge of consumer banking landscape
• Existing relationships with regional private banks, retail banks, platforms, financial advisory firms, robo-advisors and digital channels in Singapore
• CFA designation preferred or relevant investment or asset management experience
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Mandarin preferred
• Relevant Licenses required
