Primary Responsibilities OTAs:
1. Develop and execute strategies and action plans to maximizing revenues from OTAs
2. Maintain desired balance of OTA bookings vs. brand.com.
3. Maintain local market manager level relationships for/on-behalf of the property.
4. Maintain up to date content on all OTA sites.
5. Enforce Best Rate Guarantee compliance and ensure the rate parity across channels.
6. Review OTA marketing activities and keep within agreed boundaries.
7. Obtain market information to help hotel identify opportunities.
Global Distribution Systems (Shared with Corporate Sales):
1. Ensure rates are loaded in timely manner and accurately in all GDS for RFP accounts, Consortia and public rates.
2. Regularly audit availability of rates.
3. Manage all GDS content and keep up to date at all times.
4. Utilize Hotel Intelligence Report, Demand 360 (where available) to identify market
trend, competitor movement and identify key revenue opportunities for the hotel.
5. Plan and execute GDS marketing campaigns, aimed at driving awareness and
business to property.
Responsibilities brand.com:
1. To work with Director of Revenue, maximize revenues from brand.com as the main online channel.
2. Identify and initiate marketing activities to drive demand and bookings to Brand.com.
3. Working with marketing team to identify other traffic sources for revenue driving activities like meta-search, referral sites.
4. Contribute to marketing team on social media campaigns to promote social signals.
5. Reporting & Analysis of the performance of Brand.com for the property and comparing it against performance of other revenue channels.
6. Stay abreast in the online trends updates and propose new strategies to increase the market shares against that of the competitors set.
Secondary Responsibilities Wholesale Partners
1. Develop and execute strategies and action plans to maximizing revenues from Wholesaler Channels.
2. Maintain desired balance of B2B Dynamic vs OTA bookings vs. brand.com.
3. Work with Revenue team to determine the right margin for Dynamic rate and the right price for Static rate in order to grow revenue share for this segment.
4. Maintain local market manager level relationships for/on-behalf of property.
5. Ensure Wholesale rates are not creating any rate parity issues on B2C channels, investigate and appropriate action taken when such issue occurs.
6. Work with Revenue team on determine the right margin for Dynamic rate and the right price for Static rate in order to grow revenue share for this market.
7. Manage and execute tactical offer/promotion plan for Wholesale segment for Dynamic and static rate contracts.
8. Keep an up to date and accurate record of allotment commitments and utilization.
Candidate should:
1. Have an understanding of the Global Distribution Systems, OTA and Wholesale business models and B2C marketing capabilities.
2. Develop measurement KPIs for reporting on productivity of each channel and be able to define strategies from these analyses.
3. Participate in revenue meetings and review channel performance and lead discussion on maximizing revenues via all electronic channels.
4. Have knowledge of, and hands-on experience with marketing options
across OTA and B2B partner channels and website optimization.
5. Have an understanding of online performance marketing channels and up to date knowledge with latest digital marketing trends.
