This role works within the DEI team to actively deliver AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s DEI 5 Year Strategic PlanPrincipal AccountabilitiesWork proactively within the DEI team to regionally operationalize the Global DEI strategy.In close partnership with colleagues in the Regional Network and as part of the Global corporate DEI team, plan, develop and deliver a Regional DEI programme of interventions to advance the Global DEI Strategy and our regional DEI maturity. These interventions could, for example, be: partnerships with national agencies to improve the balance of our demography [e.g. bringing in more people from minoritized communities into AVEVA], DEI briefings, speakers and training programmes. Above all, the postholder will have the strategic skills to develop and drive an agile, pragmatic and impactful regional plan, meeting the needs of each country in the regionCollaborate with leaders and teams across the Region to advance inclusion. In practice this means engaging with and providing practical guidance and influencing leaders to drive accountability, tangible results and an inclusive culture.Increase the engagement of colleagues across all countries in the Region on the topic of inclusion. This means embedding DEI practices across countries and functions, working with relevant business partners and holding them to account for delivery of their plans and ensuring a regular beat of regional internal and external communications.Cultivate relationships with DEI communities, organisations, and groups across the Region that create value to build better practices within AVEVAPartner with colleagues in Learning and Development on DEI interventions and ensure appropriate measurement that makes a shift in awareness and behavioursOversee the Regional Budget and cost control, including monitoring of expenditure.Support the collection and analysis of employee demographic data and analytics to ensure we are making progress towards targets and goals. Lead the translation of data insights from the Region to feed and inform strategic priorities, targets and actions for AVEVA.Work with all the Employee Groups to support the delivery of their activity in RegionMaintain the Region\xe2\x80\x99s DEI OneSpace page (Intranet) and drive constant updating of the latest content e.g., articles, video, and blogs and ensure all countries have a voice on DEI issuesProvide Subject Matter Expertise to key stakeholders on DEI.Work closely with internal stakeholders e.g. senior leaders across all functions and the regional and local HR Business Partners.Knowledge & Experience requiredExperience of working in DEI in the corporate sector or a global, matrixed organisationExperience of completing Requests for ProposalsExperience of working with diverse teams e.g., across countries/cultures, and supporting Employee Groups (current Groups are BLACK Voices, Disability, Women, Salute, Generations, Pride, and Belief)Excellent written and spoken EnglishExperience organising in-person and virtual eventsKnowledge of DEI issues. We are looking for a subject matter expert, someone who is a DEI professional, with much more than a \xe2\x80\x98passion\xe2\x80\x99 for DEI. You will need to have a deep and broad understanding of DEI issues, intersectionality, and a working knowledge of its complexities. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in driving improvements in the corporate sector in more than one specific DEI area (e.g. gender, race and ethnicity, religion/belief and/or LGBTQ+ issues.)Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements of individual countries in their region and experience of having worked to fulfil these requirementsKnowledge of regional DEI landscape, including statutory reporting requirements, key DEI organisations and bodies, and leading service providersSkills requiredYou will need to be able to work proactively and independently to influence leaders and others and be focussed on results, impact and outcomes.
