Responsibilities: To be responsible for the overall safety management and safety well-being of DTL staff and contractors, including the development of safety programmes and measures To advise HOD and DTL management on all safety issues To ensure compliance of all safety regulations and legislations imposed by regulators or other national authorities To conduct hazard analysis and safety audit as and when required for internal work activities To review, update and maintain EHS legal register Review, maintain and monitor compliance of the DTL Safety Management System Manage and organise the conduct of WSH audits and inspections Lead and investigate WSH and security related incidents/accidents Liaise with Statutory Authorities on safety and regulatory matters Lead and co-ordinate operational safety submission for expansion/upgrading projects in areas of Operations Safety to LTA Plan, organise and lead in conducting safety audits and inspections Compile, analyse safety information for Hazard Incident Reporting System Plan and monitor safety and security inspections at stations & depots Lead and review risk assessment on engineering design, work and operation processes Conduct safety induction briefing to new staff during 1st duty stand-by periodRequirements: Possess WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C) and MOM-Registered WSH Officer with at least 5 years of work experience related to WSH Preferably possess a certification as Fire Safety Manager Preferably possess a certification as Safety Assessor for Confined Space Preferably possess work experience in facility/process maintenance Good knowledge in Singapore Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Protection, Fire Safety legislations, Codes of Practice and Singapore standards Knowledge on rail systems will be an advantage Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Experienced in conducting incident investigation, safety training and report writing Conversant with presentation preparations and multimedia Responsible, result orientated and good team player Quick thinking in dealing with a situation Self starter with drive and passion Able to identify colorsBy submitting this application for this position, you acknowledge that you have read the Data Protection Policy for Job Applicants (the "Policy") of SBS Transit Ltd and its subsidiaries, affiliates and related corporations ('SBST") and consent to: a.
