The Regional Fragrance & Beauty (FBP) division is looking for an e-Business Performance Marketing manager, whose role is to analyze, review, and report e-Business performances across commercial (e.g., e-Commerce, e-Retail, e-Shop) and performance marketing (e.g., digital media conversions) across all APAC markets, and develop proposals alongside the Head of e-Business to improve upon them. In addition, this role is also expected to uplift e-Business performance by facilitating learning & sharing of best practices across APAC for all digital commerce touchpoints. This role requires a high degree of interaction & collaboration alongside the local teams in APAC to understand the growth drivers, blockers, and propose solutions to resolve them.

Fragrance & Beauty e-Business


  • Support the Head of eBusiness in defining the relevance & strategy for Performance Marketing, (SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Social) in the APAC region.

  • Support markets to drive targeted audiences to Chanel channels to increase engagement, consideration and conversion in a cost-efficient way with an omni-channel approach (Retail, brand.com, partner online retailers, and social).

  • Support markets to ensure an integrated approach to overall performance media investment, maximizing brand awareness and campaign visibility in the online domain with right channels and media mix

  • Lead performance audience targeting and segmentation strategy across key channels (Social, Programmatic, Search) and across the funnel from Awareness to Purchase.

  • Work with Global, Regional and Market media teams to coordinate with external and internal digital agency teams

  • Define & ensure consistent metrics are tracked & used for commercial & digital media performance reporting in the region in close collaboration with the Regional Data Analytics Manager

  • Analyze & evaluate performance data to generate reports and identify potential areas for business improvement in terms of digital business sales and digital media spends

  • Conduct periodic business reviews with regional leadership to share statuses (e.g., campaign and spend effectiveness), opportunities, threats, and proposed solutions

  • Facilitate learnings across various mediums (e.g., online sharing, workshops) for APAC markets based on knowledge from other APAC markets, global regions (e.g., EU, US), external agencies, and competitors. Centralise & maintain repository of best practices.

  • Provide business inputs to inform campaigns, objectives, and strategies of adjacent regional teams (e.g., Marketing, CRM, etc.) in Regional FBP

  • Conduct external analysis and research to understand the digital commerce landscape for luxury retailers and potential trends that may influence the brand\xe2\x80\x99s performance

What you can bring to the team\xe2\x80\xa6

  • 6-8 years of experience in digital & performance marketing, ideally both agency and brand side.

  • A data driven individual with focus on commercial performance, analysis & insights.

  • A strategic mindset, able to consider new and innovative ways of doing business online.

  • Strong focus on search engine optimisation across a variety of markets.

  • Strong focus on managing paid marketing channels (SEM, Affiliates, Programmatic, Retargeting, Custom Audiences)

  • Excellent understanding and strong foundation in martech/adtech platforms (GA, DMP, DSP, DV360)

  • Good understanding on the eCommerce & retail business including e-merchandising, customer experience, CRM, promotion mechanisms, media & communications, stock management, last mile delivery, invoicing, etc.

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills

  • Strong motivation to drive positive brand performance across Chanel\xe2\x80\x99s digital commerce platforms by proactively identifying & driving opportunities for better practices throughout the region

  • Strong project and people management skills to ensure all requests are recognized and prioritized for optimal customer experience & business impact

  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate sound decision-making and good judgment in the face of ambiguity

  • Flexible and positive mindset to embrace changes and agility to adapt

  • Empathy and excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with business stakeholders across various APAC markets

  • Ability to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
