Business FunctionGroup Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate \xe2\x80\x93 and elevate \xe2\x80\x93 our brand from the rest of the competition.Job Purpose:We are seeking purpose-driven visionary leaders and social change agents to join the growing DBS Foundation leadership team. The DBS Foundation has been championing social entrepreneurship for a decade and since Covid, it also began to support various community programmes.Going forward, with a commitment to give back up to SGD1bn in the next ten years to improve lives and livelihoods of underprivileged segments, the Foundation will focus specifically on providing daily needs for the less fortunate and improving financial literacy and inclusion levels of vulnerable segments across Asia.The incumbent(s) will play a pivotal role in building the DBS Foundation brand while enhancing its ability to deliver social impact at scale in the areas above, by supporting businesses for impact - social enterprises and SMEs who are purpose and profit driven, innovative programmes and partnerships, grants and alternative funding mechanisms, capacity building initiatives etc. It will also be essential to manage related governance and compliance matters, in addition to developing and implementing a robust an impact measurement framework.If are passionate about social impact, possess purpose driven leadership skills and are eager to deliver meaningful outcomes, we encourage you to pursue this opportunity.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic partnership plans to widen reach and create systemic, sustainable change and impact.
  • Identify good partners, cultivate relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders, including government agencies, corporations, other foundations, and HNW individuals.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring that they align with the mission and objectives of DBS Foundation.
  • When & if relevant, to secure joint/match funding from relevant sources, including the government, corporate sponsors, customers etc
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership programmes and develop /explore alternative funding initiatives
  • Work in close collaboration internal partners in DBS Bank and the external social impact ecosystem
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Social studies or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (min 15 years) in partnership management, preferably in the philanthropic sector.
  • Strong understanding of the philanthropic landscape and the gaps & needs of existing social sector support programmes.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders and build a strong team.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of driving organizational change and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the DBS Foundation & DBS Bank, with a passion for driving sustainable positive social change.
