Job Description

Responsibilities:
Promote a "Safety First" culture across all operations.
Act as Fire Safety Manager and ensure compliance with local safety and fire regulations.
Provide expertise in safety, emergency preparedness, risk management, and dangerous goods storage.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and training.
Support regional initiatives such as Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and site evaluations.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and generate performance reports.
Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and oversee early intervention and injury management programs.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to uphold safety standards.
Conduct safety campaigns and awareness initiatives.
Monitor industry trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
6+ years' experience in safety management, ideally in logistics or supply chain.
Professional qualifications in Health, Safety & Well-Being management.
Valid Fire Safety Manager certification and Management of Hazardous Substance License.
Proven leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance.
Desirable certifications: BCMS ISO 22301:2019, Dangerous Goods, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, injury rehabilitation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools such as Power BI.
Willingness to travel to sites and work outside regular hours as needed.
