With a turnover in excess of 3.5 billion USD and growing at a CAGR in excess of 20%, it is looking to fill a critical position in our organization: EHS OFFICERThe ideal candidate possesses a good safety and "Sustainability" mindset and is pro-active, independent and able to work with minimal supervision and performs under a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities / Tasks.Work closely with Sustainability Manager to coordinate and monitor the implementation of corporate standards and requirements, regulations & Environment/Health/Safety Policies..Organize project level EHS Committee, coordinate with overseas offices, track and monitor follow up the closure of actions..Coordinate regular internal EHS inspection to identify hazards and gaps at the respective workplaces. Track and monitor the implementation of corrective actions..Implement and review the Risk Assessment program, recommends and verify the effectiveness of controls in coordination with overseas facility managers..Conduct accident & incident investigations and recommend corrective measures to prevent a recurrence..Support the operations team in the inspection of contractor's work activity and evaluate contractor's EHS performances..Identify and conduct EHS related training as per Corporate requirements..Assist in the implementation of the Corporate EHS program..Develop emergency response & business continuality plans, exercises and review of compliance..Maintains ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 requirements, conducts EHS internal audits and follow up actions for closure..Submit reports and update actions in Corporate EHS reportorial requirements..Prepare reports and presentation for related EHS meetings, Committee Meeting and other EHS related materials..Prepare Annual Sustainability Report in accordance to GRI StandardsKey Qualifications/Requirements: .Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent and Advanced Certificate in WSH - Level B..At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field (EHS) is required for this position..Candidates with a relevant Degree in Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety or candidates who are currently pursuing a relevant degree are welcome to apply..Candidates with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 IMS Internal Auditor Certificate will be advantageous..Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent..Understand the requirements of the latest local and international laws & regulations related to environmental health and safety..Ethical, proactive, mature and able to make prompt and critical decisions in conjunction with Sustainability Mgr. .Having great initiatives, rational judgments and able to work independently under minimum supervision..Meticulous and systematic..Able to multi-task, work under pressure and tight schedule calmly, effectively and diplomatically..Excellent command of English (spoken and written)..Able to communicate effectively and diplomatically with stakeholders of all levels..Proficiency in MS Office applications and tech-savvy.To apply, pl send your cv in word doc to [ Email address blocked ] .
