Electrical Design Engineer

Basic Salary: up to S$4,000 + $25 Fix Phone allowance

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8-5 / 9-6

Working Location: Clementi - Pandan Cres

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILTY:

• Collaborate with the Sales department for the required documentation in each project
• Prepare electrical line and detailed schematic drawings and proposed general arrangement based on the customer order information, work together with sales team to ensure that drawings match with customer order and update drawings and design based on customer feedback.
• Prepare bill of materials or BOMs to capture all the part and components that are required for the whole system design.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure that correct materials and components are delivered and raise purchase requisitions.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Participate to factory acceptance tests with customer and provide assistance for the Quality Assurance during factory testing.
• Provide training to clients, prepare as built technical drawings and user manuals before final delivery is done.
• Attend to technical questions and problems of clients
• Monitors status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule
• Maintain log files of drawings in engineering database
• Create technical datasheets as required

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering majoring in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics. General knowledge of electrical systems, circuit diagrams and power electronics.
• Experience of using AutoCAD and reading electrical drawings is a must.
• Knowledge of industrial power systems involving UPS, rectifiers, converters, and inverters is required.
• Prior experience of electrical engineering in our customer segments: power generation, marine & offshore, oil & gas, or railway infrastructure is an added advantage.
