Job Description
Objective:The Maintenance Planner will collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams, incorporating insights from design, reliability, and production groups to prepare and plan work orders for the maintenance program, plant turnarounds, and selected projects.Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect electrical and instrumentation systems, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
- Identify and assess faults or potential hazards.
- Troubleshoot system failures to ensure minimal downtime.
- Review blueprints to accurately understand wiring layouts.
- Test electrical systems using tools like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Perform testing on instruments, DCS loops, and field calibration.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on defective fixtures.
- Respond promptly to fault reports and requests.
- Provide recommendations for equipment replacements when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain detailed electrical maintenance reports.
- Install new electrical appliances within the facility.
- Strictly adhere to safety and performance standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in a Process Plant environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Willingness to work in Jurong Island.
- Ability to work overtime during breakdowns and shutdowns, and respond to emergency calls before or after regular working hours.
