VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT solution is proven to be one of the safest, most durable and environmentally friendly battery technologies.

VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU. VFT founders and management team have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology.

VFlowTech is a Singapore based company commercialising next generation flow battery to adapt renewable energy integration and decarbonize the energy sector. Our manufacturing is based in Singapore and India, and we are looking to expand to other regions in SE Asia. At this juncture, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our Electrolyte development and sourcing. The position is available for Singapore, India or China.

• Handle the electrolyte supply chain for our MWh projects. It involves mostly three directions:
• Source vanadium electrolyte from the existing suppliers globally and negotiate the best price.
• ii) develop the leasing model for electrolyte supply and secure vanadium for the projects on leasing,
• iii) produce the electrolyte in-house with partners procuring the V2O5,
• iv) develop the supply chain for V2O5 from waste recovery.
• For the waste recovery project, it basic R&D and process diagram is available. Based on this, it would be required to scout to technology supplier to setup a recovery plant in India.
• Resource planning for setting up the electrolyte production line and its value chain
• Develop process for chemical waste management.
• Support in various other raw material sourcing for battery and developing the strategy for cost reduction.

Qualifications

• A dynamic and fast acting personnel to handle this challenging job.
• Possess a degree in physics, chemistry, engineering, material science, or a related field.
• Several years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in chemical process engineering roles and understanding of the complete value chain
• This role requires frequent travel to China, India and other countries.
