For more information, please visit .Position Summary:You will be one of the key contributors to the technical and field service business under Thermo Fisher Scientific. You are expected to meet service financial commitment, service deliverable metrics and expertise to deliver the best in class response to Thermo Fisher Scientific customers in Singapore.RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Responsible in performing on-site installation, validation and commissioning of gas chromatography and inorganic mass spectrometer.\xc2\xb7 Perform on-site troubleshooting, service, preventive maintenance and repairs. Provide on-site customer training\xc2\xb7 Process escalation and warranty claims timely and accurately to resolve service issues.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales. Create and maintain service information in the company database Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits\xc2\xb7 Timely complete and submit all required paperwork Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Diploma / Degree in Engineering with equivalent experience in similar field and industry.\xc2\xb7 Possess good analytical/problem solving skills and adept at multi-tasking\xc2\xb7 Effective communication/interpersonal management skills\xc2\xb7 Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.\xc2\xb7 Strong performance track record.\xc2\xb7 Fluent in the use of relevant technical equipment with an inherent ability to learn new product services rapidly.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated strong leadership skills.\xc2\xb7 An excellent team player\xc2\xb7 Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment\xc2\xb7 May need to travel within SEA
