What the role is:Jobholder would be part of a team that is forward deployed to Singapore Police Force. Jobholder would be responsible for the timely delivery of ICT services and support through effective project management, stakeholders\' engagements and ground implementation. Jobholder is expected to be able to review, improve and enhance ICT solutions to significantly escalate Singapore Police Force\'s operational capabilities. For major events, jobholder may be activated in short notice to render ICT services and support to SPF.What you will be working on:The jobholder will be responsible for the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 To lead a team to plan and manage the delivery of systems, projects, and support services for SPF\'s operations, exercises, and events. \xe2\x80\xa2 To engage the relevant stakeholders and contractors to deliver the systems, projects, and support services, ensuring that budget, requirements and specifications are met, through the sound application of project management processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 To plan and review systems/projects maintenance and support strategies that incorporate proactive approaches, to sustain the system capabilities throughout its life cycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 To lead or be involved in ICT projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.What we are looking for:Job requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering or related fields. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably with at least two years of relevant working experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses leadership qualities and analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses relevant experience on the management of IT, security screening systems, video surveillance systems and/or communication systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written, especially in report writing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous worker able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work under time pressure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses pleasant personality and able to articulate confidently. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environment and may need to work outside office hours, weekends, and public holidays due to operational exigency. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
