Job Description
What the role is:The incumbent's job responsibilities include but are not limited to:What you will be working on:
- Lead a shift team to monitor and control (via a computerised system) network transmission and conveyance operations to ensure continuous water supply to customers. Forecast and estimate daily water demand for Singapore. Plan for waterworks\' and desalination plants\' load dispatch to meet target Service Reservoir (SR) stock stipulated by Joint Operations Centre (JOC). Respond to water quality and security incidents in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report equipment faults to maintenance team and coordinate operations to ensure undisrupted water supply during maintenance. Coordinate with internal stakeholders during planned network operations and provide timely updates to supervisors and management. Plan and perform tests for critical equipment (e.g. valves and pumps). Compile and generate daily water demand and water quality reports for circulation to internal stakeholders and management. Plan and perform data analytics for water demand and network pressure for transmission and conveyance operation optimisation.
