About our group:Guzik Lab is a department that uses the VXI Test System (VTS) and Reduced Foot Print (RFS) as a component level of electrical tester designed to test the electrical efficiency of the magnetic media and head. We will provide process feedback/design feedback during development/Launch and aid drive development by the characterizing distribution and developing transfer function. Also, we will test the Failure Analysis tool (electrical HDD failures) and screen defects (electrical only) related to the magnetic sputtering process.About the role - you will:

• Perform a parametric test on media monitor parametric performance, head yield and data trend through daily production samples

• Perform troubleshooting when data abnormity. Be it incoming media, reference disk, test head or tester related and report any issue immediately. Follow up to ensure resolution

• Perform basic maintenance troubleshooting and repair on tester when encounter tester error
• Review and analyzed the data to ensure data is relevant and accurate before uploading to SPC (Statistic Process Control), report to engineer/supervisor if any abnormity
• Work and coordinate with engineers in evaluation, new testing procedure, new test head implementation and head yield improvement
• Handle tester/head correlations, qualifications and Gage R&R (Gage Repeatability and Gage Reproducibility)
• Support test on customer failure return request from engineers
• Support new product launch from qualification to mass production
• Identify and support kaizen activities for continuous improvement opportunities to test operations
• Create comprehensive pass down report to ensure work continuity in the subsequent working shift

• Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior or management

About you:

• Good understanding of Microsoft Office
• Good attitude & communication skill is a distinct advantage
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment
• Able to work in night shift
• Multitasking and flexibility is required
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual

Your experience includes:

• Troubleshoot malfunctions of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Knowledge in VBA excel
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, semiconductors or electronics industry
• Experience in maintenance or test support

Location:Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
