The Role

Position summary statement:

To be responsible the maintenance and repair of the hotel\'s machinery, equipment, building, fixtures and facilities, planning of the preventive, maintenance, monitoring day-to-day operation and to ensure building is compliances with the local authority.

Job Responsibilities

  • To ensure all plants operation and maintenance is in smooth operational condition.
  • Designate jobs/assignments to Shift leader and Technicians during morning briefing.
  • Supervise and train shift leaders / technicians for their best productivity.
  • Response complaint call & on-site assistance after office hour include weekend/public holiday.
  • Basic email writing to contractor, vendor, prepare PR via SAP system (to be training).
  • Prepare and compute electricity bill consumption for hotel, spa, and ballroom for monthly submission.
  • Property site-walk and follow-up comment.
  • Minor project co-ordination and management.
  • Project defect management.
  • Able to understand M&E / building as-built drawings and sketch the drawing if require.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance programs for buildings / mechanical & electrical system.
  • Liaise with appointed contractor and supplier to complete the assignment or project.
  • Able to carry out M&E installation and repair work include electrical works.
  • Able to trouble-shooting building defect such as water seepage and building work related.
  • Compile, collate and analyse operational data and recommend for improvement processes.
  • Prepare all appropriate staff duty roster and annual leave planning.
  • Assist department to comply all authorities\' requirement.
  • Technical support and standby for event activities.
  • To remain contactable to provide advice and assistance in response to operations requirements; and report to office whenever necessary after office hour.
  • Manage & control HOTSOS programming, report update and cover shift duties.
  • Manage & control Work Order request, update report and cover shift duties.
  • Manage & control Preventive Maintenance Work, schedule planning, update report and cover shift duties.
  • Regularly check & respond email, arrange assignment via hand-phone/email to associate even after office hours include weekend & holiday.
Talent Profile
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering industry.
  • Full competent in both mechanical and electrical fields.
  • Exposure to purchasing, cost control beneficial.
  • Diploma in Building Maintenance / Mechanical / Electrical or in M&E Engineering
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel of computer for preparing reports
  • Good written and oral skills
