What the role is
As an Engineer/Senior Engineer in the Technology Scanning and Partnerships Branch of Technology Department, you will lead in the identification and assessment of game-changing technologies and solutions to enhance PUB’s operations and meet future challenges by leveraging on existing or building new links to partners globally.
What you will be working on
Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: • Scan globally and assess new technologies that are relevant to PUB and develop partnerships to research, validate and ultimately implement these to advance PUB’s mission of ensuring an efficient, sustainable and cost-effective supply of water for Singapore. • Launch Global Innovation Challenges to solicit solutions from around the globe to meet PUB’s current and future needs. • Showcase PUB’s efforts and achievements in harnessing R&D to achieve our mission through issuing of annual publications. • Plan and organise of the bi-annual Water Convention of the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). • Coordinate and facilitate PUB’s partnerships and collaborations with international partners such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), International Water Association (IWA), US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the Global Water Research Coalition (GWRC) etc.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Engineering • Candidates with relevant working experience are preferred • Deep technical knowledge and clear understanding of the current trends in water industry and emerging technologies • Proven ability to manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders / partners Work Location Singapore Water Exchange
