MENCK are looking to hire an Equipment Service Manager on a full time, permanent basis. Based at their location in Tuas, Singapore, the Equipment Service Manager - Asia Operations is an important executive position for MENCK and the Marine Foundations (MF) segment with responsibilities in the Asia service and production structure.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage budget and on-time production of new/existing equipment, sub-assemblies and parts for sales & rental projects within the framework of assigned projects in Singapore
• Review and determine the validity of incoming warranty claims submitted by clients
• Ensure availability of storage, materials, tools and equipment required for repair and maintenance activities outside Menck/Acteon facilities
• Collaborate closely with other specialist departments outside Repair & Maintenance including Service Technician Pool, Engineering and Technical Support teams
• Manage Repair & Maintenance orders which will be executed in Singapore
• Share insights with regard to budget forecast, resource, material and production planning
• Provide full support to the company by contributing in strategic development and continuous improvement efforts on equipment repair & maintenance processes and activities
• Ensure strict compliance with set-forth operational and safety standards & guidelines

• Bachelor\'s degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in the field of service of special machinery or similar
• Experience in project management
• Business knowledge and basic knowledge of dealing with (international) contracts
• Highly independent, organized and flexible with a proven ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams
• Ability to motivate employees at a distance
• Willingness to travel to other MF branches or project sites, if required
• Good written and spoken English knowledge, Mandarin or German is a plus
