Mission

The Field Service Manager is in charge of supervising the team responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of IBA\'s equipment and systems in order to deliver, within defined timelines, a final reliable working product matching quality and performance requirements.

Challenges we trust you with

• Manage the Flying Engineers Team located in the asian region in charge of Beam subsystem

• Coordinate and direct the Engineers\' assignments with the region of IBA\'s Proton Therapy Centers
• Supervise the team planning and the related resources needed, according to contracts, in compliance with the required level of quality and technical performances
• Ensure that the Safety, Health and Environmental policies are followed by the team. Collaborate with EHS department on these aspects, when relevant.
• Drive continuous improvement within the field service team, business unit, and organization as a whole

• Develop the team, both technically and professionally; this involves measuring performance and ensuring appropriate training is put in place and followed through to completion.
• Ensure that every engineer is certified or in the process of being certified to meet IBA standards.
• Analyze technical issues encountered by team; Escalate as necessary and propose and implement solutions.
• Act as an interface and a facilitator with all involved departments.
• Maintain close collaboration with your peers based in other regions to keep processes aligned
• Define and improve processes linked to the field service team

• Identify areas for process improvement and initiate optimization projects while maintaining synergies within organization.
• Document and report the team achievements with the required details and accuracy.
• Oversees headcount and budgetary requirements of the field service team

• Define and execute plan to deliver within budget and deadlines.
• Coordinates resource needs of regional PT sites and other regions to ensure proper manning within the team.
• Monitors, analyzes, tunes, and implements necessary changes in service resource utilization.
• Follow up of operational budget (cost, revenues, and internal projects).
• Reforecast budget based on company position and needs.
