Your role

Are you an analytic thinker? Do you enjoy developing innovative solutions?

If so, we are looking for someone like you as an Equity Research Analyst to cover stocks in the new energy, software and related industrial and utility sectors across the Asia ex-Japan universe.

• conduct fundamental research on stocks in the assigned sector coverage
• develop comprehensive sector framework to analyze industry and company fundamentals
• build and maintain financial models with the objective of valuation of companies
• identify and recommend investment ideas in the assigned sector coverage

Your team

You will be working in the Emerging Markets and Asia equities team based in Singapore. The team uses fundamental, bottoms up analysis to identify attractive investment candidates across the
APAC equity market with the goal of delivering sustainable, long term alpha generation to our clients.

Your expertise

• an undergraduate or graduate in finance, economics or STEM discipline (science, engineering, biomedical, technology or mathematics). Holder of CFA strongly preferred
• demonstrated passion for investing with ideally at least 5 years of research experience, preferably on the buy side
• strong quantitative and analytical skills, knowledge of financial statement analysis and modeling
• intellectual curiosity and strong mental fortitude in order to construct independent investment thesis with a counter consensus view
• positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and team player
• good written, oral and presentation communication skills in English and Mandarin, as this role will also cover the Chinese market
