The Estate Manager will play an important role in setting up and managing the Hawker Centre in Q3 2022.Join us, if you have what it takes!Job Responsibilities: Management of a team - this would include recruitment, yearly appraisal and training of your team.Tenancy Management - Managing end-to-end of tenancy operations, including but not limited to the followings1. onboarding and offboarding of tenants,2. conducting routine inspections,3. management of arrears and taking the appropriate action, . Designing policies for new initiatives (e.g. Bridging Programe, One Stop Services etc) . Facilities Management - Working with contractors and stakeholders to ensure high standards of cleanliness, good maintenance of facilities and good environment of Hawker Centre. This includes1. responsive incident management,2. efficient table-cleaning, general and toilet-cleaning,3. effective pest control,4. preventive and routine maintenance,5. cyclical repairs/redecorations,6. attending to emergency7. and ad hoc improvement works.Feedback Management & Stakeholders' Engagement - Addressing feedback and appeals professionally and regularly engaging stakeholders (e.g. stallholders, contractors, Hawkers Association, landlord and relevant authorities etc) to implement initiatives and resolve operational issues.Routine exercise - Taking a lead in planning and coordinating of activities such as fire drills, quarterly spring cleaning and community activities.Any other tasks assignedJob Requirements: . 5 years' experience in managing a similar scale of estate. . Diploma holder. . Have a strong passion in Singapore food culture. . Enjoy field work and will be comfortable in hawker centre environment. . Strong stakeholder management skills and able to maintain composure under challenging circumstances to resolve conflicts. Experience in regulatory compliance work would be advantageous. . Independent, motivated, resourceful, and meticulous. . A good team player with leadership qualities. . Good incident management and communication skills. Physical work and heavy lifting is required and fully vaccinated. . 6 day work week. . Able to perform rotating shift work, including weekends, Public Holidays and after office hours when required.
