Job Description

On behalf of our client, A1 Main Contractor, we are looking for Estimators (CSA).

Responsibilities

• Reviews tender documents / Requests for Proposals to understand project details and requirements;
• Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating;
• Provide detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work documentation;
• Provide timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender duration;
• Provide current and competitive industry schedule of rates against the take-offs;
• Communicate and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Provide costing data and input into the Proposal formats required by the tender documentation;
• Collating and checking tender bids against estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness;
• Works within the estimating team, reporting to the Bid Manager or Project Manager;
• Coordinates with other discipline estimators and Engineers;
• Provides support to other team members with regards to estimating and tendering
• Coordinating between other disciplines to close estimating scope gaps
  

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in construction related discipline
• Strong experience in handling tenders
• 5 years of cost estimating experience within the related discipline
• Proficient in supporting medium to large scale projects
• Proficient in preparing, co-ordination and consolidating all estimating activities
  

Term : 24 months' contract Location: Projects are located islandwide. Pick-up points are available.
