We are experienced ETL Developers to join our cause in helping customers Stay Modern, ahead of the technological curve! What is an ETL Developer An ETL developer is a category of data/software engineer that handles the Extract, Transform, and Load processes, implementing technical solutions to enable and optimize these very same processes. Roles and Responsibilities Handle database design, local design, data modelling and its respective processes - e.g. development of database schemas Design and develop data flows, control flows, workflows and event handlers Determine the appropriate design connections and data connectors to be used in the packages and between other layers Ensure that created packages and data pipelines are fully functional, operable, and are of high quality in nature Identify, recommend and implement architecture and/or process improvements Perform end-to-end testing, identify bugs and resolve them as necessary Document the created solution, train customers in solution usage and provide technical support as required Skills Required Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics and/or related fields Track record in data engineering and/or ETL development work High level of proficiency in data modelling and schema designs - e.g. relational, star, snowflake schemas Strong knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex SQL queries Strong knowledge of Python and/or R and its respective libraries Good command of communication, problem-solving and English language skills
