We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of events, from securing necessary licences and permits to coordinating with venues and adding those important finishing touches that make every event a success.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle event-related licence and permit applications (SFA, NEA, Police, NParks, etc.)
Liaise with venue owners, landlords, and authorities on event logistics and approvals
Coordinate with internal teams on event setup, schedules, and client requirements
Support in on-site event operations, ensuring smooth flow and timely execution
Manage timelines, vendors, and documentation for each event
Oversee final presentation and "soft touches" to ensure quality standards
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Events Management, Business, or related field
1-3 years of relevant experience in event coordination or licensing (preferred)
Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays during event periods
