What you are accountable for:

Our APJC team, based out of Singapore has grown steadily, and we have experienced considerable success in the region. As we look to build on this success, accelerate our growth, expand our services, and build the team, we are now seeking an ambitious and motivated B2B Event Producer to join the team. This is an ideal role for an experienced digitally savvy B2B technology marketer, looking for the next step in their career with a desire to work with a fast-paced growing team delivering innovative, integrated global campaigns.

The role will be working across most of the agency's accounts which are mainly made up of major international technology brands to help to develop ROI-based marketing programmes aimed at end-user (SMB to Enterprise) direct and through global system integrator audiences, utilising all the marketing disciplines including media planning, brand development, content creation, creative concepts and execution, video, motion graphics, digital development and MarTech.

Our clients work in APJC, North America and EMEA so there is a requirement for flexibility in supporting this and there may also be a requirement for occasional travel.

As well as the core skills required to be an outstanding Event Producer, the right candidate will have previous experience working in a B2B marketing agency, owning the relationship with technology clients, and leading conversations to unlock opportunities. They will have to demonstrable understanding and a desire to learn more in the areas of digital marketing, ABM, partner marketing, content marketing, creative concepts and execution, social media. A particular interest in understanding the forever developing MarTech stack is a key factor in our decision to recruit new team members into client services.

The right candidate will be a talented and confident individual, with the ability to work autonomously with a team of Account executives, Managers and Directors - as well as foster and grow existing relationships and develop new ones, they should consider owning the financial success of their stable of accounts a key aspect of their role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for experiential marketing and a desire to really understand client challenges, their business, and their products. A broad experience in marketing is essential to support servicing of our technology clients

What you are responsible for:

Key tasks will include, but are not restricted to:

Client

  • Lead Client contact across a range of tech marketing clients - maintaining established client relationships, developing more recently acquired client relationships - quickly winning their trust
  • Strategic/ planning lead for these accounts, with the foresight to structure a cross-functional team of in-house and external talents team that can deliver business because of these plans to ensure that the final product is consistent with the client's vision, budget, and timeline.
  • Ownership and manage full project lifecycles including project development, event application, hybrid events, show production, interactive multimedia, and integrated campaigns.
  • Account planning, including organic growth planning and requests for support wherever possible.
  • Financial Management - ensuring invoicing is properly managed, clients have visibility of budgets, monthly forecasts are maintained and accurate, owning targets and build plans to meet and exceed them.
Internal
  • People management, ensuring healthy team spirit of co-operation and efficiency at all times.
  • Responsible for the client team's productivity, outlook, and output, whilst achieving the highest possible standards.
  • Ensuring quality control through supervision and stimulation to ensure the best solutions always presented to client challenges
  • Developing and challenging the team to facilitate growth, development, and commitment to the agency
  • Delegating appropriately
  • Resource Management within the agency together with studio heads - to ensure all projects are given the attention they need, and equality of team workload
  • Managing pitches and winning the hearts and minds of new client opportunities
  • Owning commercial success of accounts
What you'll bring [knowledge, skills, and/or experience]:
  • Ability to plan strategically with a view to working as an extension of our clients' marketing teams
  • Knowledge across multiple channels to recommend activities suitable to any client brief.
  • The personality to explain, sell and then help deliver a great idea to a client and within the team - tied to the people skills that can create and grow client relationships
  • Build strong working relationships within the agency, with the ability to clearly define a creative or digital brief
  • Management of financial forecasting across accounts for the year
  • Leadership of a team
  • Focus on generating new ideas to share across the agency
  • An understanding and experience of the tech marketing sector brought with you from a previous agency or direct client experience
  • Has experience with the below and when best to deploy them:
  • Sound knowledge of the B2B marketing ecosystem
  • Strong digital marketing, creative and ABM experience
  • Approx. 8 years B2B marketing agency experience
  • Experience in managing and working in small teams
  • Project Managing either regional (Asean/APJC) or global Integrated Campaigns
  • Understanding how to maximise networking opportunities
