Your new job: Event Sales Specialist |Conferences, Conventions, Exhibitions, Meetings, Event Services
As an event sales manager, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the event industry and a passion for creating memorable events. They will be responsible for identifying, creating, and leading sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential partners, and managing the event from initial sales process to completion of the event.
The Function:
Identify and develop new sales opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with potential partners
Prepare and present quotes and proposals to clients
Manage the event from initial sales process to completion
Report on monthly sales activities and customer engagement
Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings
What do we need from you:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business or hospitality and tourism
4-5 years of relevant experience in event sales
Proven track record of closing contracts
Fluency in spoken and written English
High level of integrity and professionalism
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work long hours and travel.
