Events and Corporate Engagement - Coordinator

Salary Range: $2,800 - $3,500 Capital College of the Arts, Management and Technology (CCAMT), is currently in search of a motivated and energetic Events and Corporate Engagement Coordinator to become a part of our team. The primary role of this position will be to aid in the coordination of events and corporate engagement for the College. Our preferred candidate will have a deep interest in higher education and have previously excelled in the industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities and strategic thinking skills. Event Planning and Coordination
Plan, execute, and coordinate a variety of events for the College, including academic and social events, fundraising events, and community outreach programs. This includes developing event concepts, identifying resources needed, managing event logistics, overseeing event setup and teardown, and ensuring that events run smoothly and according to plan. General Management
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to create effective promotional materials and ensure that events are well-publicized.
  • Manage event budgets, track and approve all expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Corporate Relationship and External Liaison
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and collaborators.
  • Develop strategies to improve the College\'s corporate engagement efforts and identify new opportunities for partnerships.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings between College leadership and corporate partners.
  • Liaising between the College and external organizations
Consulting and Support
  • Consult with Deans and Programme Managers on strategies for events.
  • Support the marketing team in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the success of events and corporate engagement efforts and provide recommendations for improvement and growth.
Compliance and College-wide Events
  • Maintain strict compliance with the Commission for Private Education (CPE) in all activities and events.
  • Contribute to College-wide events as needed, including preparing for on-site and off-site events.

CCAMT.
The specific responsibilities of the role may vary depending on the needs of CCAMT, and the events and engagement activities taking place at any given time. Educational Qualification:
  • A Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Competencies and Skills Required: Event Planning and Execution
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution, particularly in organizing workshops, camps, graduation activities, competitions, and any educational events.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to plan and execute events from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and vendor coordination.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all aspects of event planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to event planning, including the ability to track expenses and manage budgets effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements for event planning in the education and entertainment industries.
Communication and Relationship Building
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and corporate partners.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively, particularly during large- scale events.
  • Effective has the ability to communicate fluently, with a strong verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities when communicating with speakers of other languages.
  • The ability to interpret and translate legal or technical documents may be required, depending on the project.
Strategic Thinking and Creativity
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to enhance the overall event experience and achieve event goals.
  • Understanding of marketing and branding principles and practices to effectively support Marketing team to promote events and increase attendance.
Technology and Software Proficiency
  • Proficiency in event planning software, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and social media platforms for event promotion and communication.
Flexibility and Adaptability
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and timelines during event planning and execution.
