Job Description


Focusing on our Events business, this role is critical to the success of the firm business and requires someone who is driven to lead event production and show management for firm Syndicated events. The role entails a regional scope and shall report directly to the Head of Events.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work out a plan with Events team on delegate recruitment for all AP events.
  • Proactively work with Direct Report on different strategies to increase end user database.
  • Ensure a meeting is set up to run through the event logistics/ sponsor action items/ marketing etc when a sponsor signed up for an event.
  • Provide sponsors with regular updates (via email and/or verbal) regarding event registrations, logistics, set up times etc..
  • Provide sponsors with a post event report after the event
  • Provide sponsors with a post event report meeting to run through event results
  • Work on securing venues and negotiating venue hire and catering requirements for events in line with budgets
  • Work with staging suppliers to negotiate event staging for events in line with budget requirements
  • Increase event registrations via working with sponsors and AP marketing/ events team to development marketing campaigns to encourage extra registrations eg. PR campaigns, prize draws for registrants before the event etc.


Qualifications & Traits:
  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise/ corporate events, conference management experiences or similar
  • Bachelors degree, with strong evidence of success in school
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (c-level)
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals that adhere to client need; mapped to IDC capabilities
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Language requirements as determined by territory needs
