Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and recommend suitable venues for events, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that events stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and maintain event timelines and checklists, ensuring that all details are addressed and deadlines are met.
  • Arrange catering and entertainment services, including selecting menus and coordinating performers and audio-visual equipment.
  • On the day of the event, oversee set-up, manage vendor and supplier relationships, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all events run smoothly and according to plan.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning.
  • Minimum \'O\' Levels
  • Able to travel frequently for overseas events.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $2,200.00 - $2,700.00 per month Benefits:
