Fresh thinking, creative and motivated individuals will be given broad training in all aspects of our business and a path to becoming the future leaders within Clarion Events. This is an opportunity to join ambitious teams that create and deliver sector-leading live events and digital media. You will be working in an entrepreneurial and customer-centric environment where our employees love the teams in which they work.As well as building a breadth of business skills, you will also be exposed to our industry-leading marketing and commercial technology platforms; including tools such as WorkDay, Pardot and SalesForce. You'll champion the use of data and insights to help us shape our digital products and live event propositions; always with the customer at the front of your mind.During Clarion's graduate programme you will explore the complexities of the business alongside our senior leadership team and with subject matter experts across Marketing, Content, Sales and Operations - you'll spend 3 months in each function and will gain experience in a number of our industry sectors.The Rotations: During your Marketing rotation you will:

  • Learn new industries, grasp new concepts, and get to grips with our digital marketing infrastructure, including but not limited to, marketing automation technology, social media channels, websites, and databases
  • Use business intelligence, customer feedback, and insight to adjust marketing campaigns and hit key event targets
  • Build, maintain and optimise our database and websites, conducting regular testing in order to work with internal support teams to make advancements and maximise conversion across target markets
During your Content rotation you will:
  • Conduct market research, create reports on key learnings and identify industry experts for speaker acquisition
  • Explore innovative programming formats and ways of presenting content across a range of channels that respond to the needs of a segmented audience
  • Work with multiple internal teams to create multimedia editorial content that can be used to drive attendance and sales
During your Sales rotation you will:
  • Identify and research new growth areas for sales by speaking to existing and potential exhibitors
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners and delegates
  • Understand how data from using our CRM system can maximise commercial results
  • Use social media to identify the right buyers, build rapport with customers and send effective messages ultimately leading to winning business.
During your Operations rotation you will: Support Events Projects including conferences, exhibitions, virtual events and other ad hoc meetings Manage exhibitor and sponsor logistics to ensure all sponsor and exhibitor packages arefulfilled as sold by the portfolios, including event floorplan Manage all speaker requirements (C-Suite / Senior Management level) to ensure that theconference programmes run smoothly Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Producers, the project team and other Operations team members to seamlessly deliver the eventYour potential for growth and career development at Clarion is limitless and there will be the opportunity for candidates to join a specific team in a specialist role at the end of the programme.If you're looking for an opportunity that will catapult you into an exciting career and open doors to endless possibilities - don't wait and apply now.The closing date for applications is the 25th of August 2022.Experience needed: Minimum of 2:2 in your degree in any subject Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsBehaviors & Habits Ability to plan and manage own time independently and effectively A team player with a can-do attitude who can demonstrate ownership of tasks and to problem-solve quickly Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills - ability to build rapport effectively and have meaningful conversations with customers and clients alike Motivated to learn, grow and develop.
