1880 is a members\' club in Singapore that is interested in inspiring conversations that change the world. Combining a social club, co-working space, and an evolving calendar of events including discussions, parties, DJ nights, wellness sessions, and corporate launches, we create catalytic moments that stimulate both the intellect and the senses.



Events Intern

This will be the most exciting internship you\xe2\x80\x99ll ever have.

The Role:

• You will support our Membership and Events Team in the daily operations and in bringing events to life. These include researching new ideas, administrative matters, sourcing d\xc3\xa9cor, props, managing RSVPs, welcoming guests, assisting with the set-up and breakdown.
• There will be cross-training with various departments in Service and Reception teams as well to have a full picture of how 1880 works.
• You are encouraged to suggest initiatives that will make the 1880 experience more delightful.

We are looking for somebody who is:

• Engaging and a good team player
• Resourceful and willing to put in the energy to scout for d\xc3\xa9cor and props for our plethora of events
• Great at administrative skills and crafts
• Excited to research new ideas for connecting members
• Interested in F&B, hospitality, and events
• Able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines
• Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends/public holidays
• Committed to us for 6 months (negotiable)
