An exciting Execution Trader (Long-short Equities) job has just become available at a leading Asian hedge fund based in Singapore. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced investment and trading team. Reporting to a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for executing trades and providing support to the wider investment team.

About the Execution Trader (Long-short Equities) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be focusing on equities trade execution. Part of the role also involves monitoring market trends, news, and economic indicators to identify potential investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing long-short equity trade positions based on PM strategy
• Maintaining accurate records of trades, positions, and performance metrics
• Staying updated with regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
• Staying informed about developments in financial markets and industry trends
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of trading systems and tools

To succeed in this Execution Trader (Long-short Equities) role, you will need prior hedge-fund-related work experience and experience in executing long short equities strategies. In addition to this, the successful candidate would require strong analytical skills and proficiency in using trading platforms and analytical software.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• Three years\' experience in trading is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and trading strategies
• Solid understanding of risk management principles and practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are a plus
