Job Description


Key ResponsibilitiesTo manage administration matter for clinical innovation projects and processes.To assist ITO, Reseach with Grants and Secretariat duties (ie information coordination, meeting arrangements, maintaining databases, grant pre & post award admin support, accounts coordination, coordination with finance, timeline monitoring) to enhance research performance management.

  • Work with project stakeholders to manage and track project deliverables and map out innovation development & commercialization pathways with the ability to scale up in mind;
  • Ensure effective communication with members of the Project Team is maintained to achieve project targets
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of the innovation landscape especially of collaborative research and grant funding opportunities;
  • Assist researchers with the interpretation and execution of grant administration, terms and conditions as well as compliance matters such as insurance, sponsorship, regulatory matters, clinical trial certificate applications, ethical issues and legal liabilities;
  • Work collaboratively as part of the NUHS Innovation Transfer Office (ITO) team, providing administrative support for IP support & secretariat duties in order to achieve milestones
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders that support the development of commercial activities at NUHS e.g., government initiatives and agencies, industry partners and the investor community.
  • Consolidate needs/demand in order to procure/contract resources, services and equipment in order to progress projects in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Establish vendor and contract service database.
  • Manage Internal and External Innovation Grant pre & post award admin.
Job Requirements
  • At least Diploma. Other qualifications in Business or Entrepreneurship, Clinical Trial Management preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in administration for innovation Activities including (1) facilitating Research Collaborations admin work (2) IP Grant Management (3) Project Management.
  • Experienced in mentoring junior staff
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a complex organisational environment, with a need to balance expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in I.T. systems and MS Office applications.
