Develop and maintain research to inform evidence-based approaches and initiatives for the rubber sector.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support the sector and promote evidence-based solutions.
Reflect the Secretary-General's position in internal and external meetings to ensure alignment of views.
Help drive understanding of the Secretary-General's perspective in various contexts.
Solve problems, mediate disputes, and handle issues before they reach the Secretary-General.
Ensure the Secretary-General's time is effectively managed and meetings are well-prepared.
Contribute to management improvement initiatives by capturing and sharing best practices.
Recommend and implement management improvements to enhance productivity and performance.
Propose and execute cost-saving strategies to optimize organizational efficiency.
Contribution to resource mobilization efforts
Collaborate with the Secretary-General and Secretariat to mobilize resources and build partnerships.
Engage with donor and member countries, UN agencies, development financial institutions, and global program partnerships at global, regional, and country levels.
Support efforts to build and sustain partnerships.
Assist in developing a resource mobilization strategy, tools, and procedures.
Coordinate the implementation of strategies for partnership building and resource mobilization.
Support the Secretary-General in donor mapping and identifying potential funding sources.
Develop quality proposals, presentations, and briefing papers for donors.
Contribute to securing appropriate and sustainable funding from both traditional and non-traditional sources.
Performing additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Secretary-General in conformance with the policy, standards, rules, and regulations
Requirements
A University degree (Minimum of Msc) in Law, Economics, Business Management, Engineering and other related areas.
Minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience both at national and international level
