We, a progressive food and Catering company in Jurong is looking for a chef to fufil the following job scope: -
The ability to master Asian (Indonesian, Malaysian,Singapore and Western) culinary skills and techniques.
Overall in charge of the kitchen operations
Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and provides professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel.
Maintenance food service inventories.
Upholding food service standards.
Ensuring all food is consistency prepared and presented according to the Company's standard / SOP.
Constantly validates ,improves and develops our portfolio of menus, dishes and desserts etc maintaining a high standard and consistency in taste quality and amount being served to clients.
Ensures the kitchen's production are done in an efficient manner while not compromising safety, cleanliness and sanitation throughout at all times.
Trains and educate fellow kitchen chef and cooks on best practice on work procedures and cooking skills.
Requirements
Required skill(s): train and manage kitchen personnel, coordinate all related culinary activities, estimate food consumption, select and develop recipes, standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality, ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and English
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Culinary diploma or certificate
Min 5 years experience on any Asian cuisines
Meticulously abide by the use of formulated recipe in operation
6 days work week
Possess good communication skill
