COMPANY DESCRIPTION The Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962. For more information, please visit www.minds.org.sg. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate potential leads and establish partnerships in support of MINDS\xe2\x80\x99 programmes and services, including but not limited to social enterprise, volunteering, donations/funding, and employment opportunities
  • Engage, expand and cultivate network of volunteers to achieve broad-base support for MINDS\xe2\x80\x99 events and activities:
  • Conduct Interviews and sharing sessions for the purpose of recruiting new volunteers.
  • Manage the onboarding and training programme for volunteers.
  • Implement and facilitate the personal development plan and performance assessment of volunteers.
  • Support in compiling data for Volunteer Management Report and updates for MINDS Movement Advisory Committee and the Board.
  • Manage volunteers /members\xe2\x80\x99 database and maintain regular communication with them via correspondence or networking sessions.
  • Track volunteers\xe2\x80\x99 and members\xe2\x80\x99 activities database and types of contributions.
  • Educate and empower VCs to support the recruitment and management of volunteers
  • Build rapport and work closely with the VC Circle to support school/centre volunteer activities
  • Support the conduct of VCs Meeting.
  • Develop, use and review effectiveness of engagement resources (volunteer handbook, etc) and platforms (volunteers\xe2\x80\x99 app, MINDS website, volunteer database, templates etc).
  • Conceptualise and execute engagement activities including member engagement events.
  • Generate potential leads in support of overall team efforts to grow philanthropic giving for MINDS.
  • Support the team in all fundraising events / campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Business / Marketing / Social Work & Community Development/ Mass Communications preferred.
OTHER INFORMATION
  • At least 2 years of experience in volunteer or donor management, data management, events management or marketing communications.
  • Excellent project management and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Experience in client servicing, statistical and impact reporting, and corporate pitching skills preferred.
  • Experience in data management.
  • Knowledge of WordPress would be advantageous.
