Job Description
Purpose of the job:To prepare cost analyses and support costing-related activities in accordance with the month end and operational procedures.Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Planning department to prepare the cost recognition entries for aircrafts whose servicing works are not complete at period end.
- Project cost accruals/provisions and prepare reconciliations between accruals/provisions and expenses.
- Prepare aircraft profitability report for Operations to assess foreseeable losses or the adequacy of the warranty provision.
- Review the stock ageing and WIP reports to highlight the areas of concern.
- Perform SAP project closure six months after the handover of aircraft.
- Participate in harmonization and automation projects to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency of costing procedures.
- Support business partners on ad hoc analyses and projects.
