Job Purpose A Learning Management System, or LMS, is a software application that provides an administrative platform for online learning. SMRTi uses LMS to develop and administer training and learning, assessment and survey tools. As a LMS Executive, you oversee the daily performance and administration of a LMS, supporting program managers, helping to define user roles, creating courses, and providing guidance to users and other team members. Your duties may also include configuration of the learning portal to fit training needs and publishing relevant information for learners. Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of a LMS Executive are listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. Maintain good working knowledge of our LMS systems (eg. Updating of user learning records, cataloguing of learning activities and content, handling of user information, system configuration, and understanding the reporting feature) Support SMRTi training needs through application of knowledge of LMS administration and configuration. Support and coordinate with programme managers, trainers, training coordinators and participants on pre/post training admin matters and follow-ups. Provide support in operational tasks such as event support, invigilation, newcomers orientation, training facility upkeep and maintenance. Support LMS-related process improvement projects Qualifications & Work Experience Diploma certificate in Information Technology (or related field), with at least 3 years of relevant administrative and LMS operations experience Excellent operational and troubleshooting knowledge of IT platforms (admin configuration of LMS systems preferred) Excellent experience in user & system administration, database reporting, configuration, testing, and issue resolution Skills Technical skills include: Good analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel) Familiarity with using Success Factors, LMS preferred. Generic skills include: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help with report writing, developing tools to guide users through systems, and training and leading staff. Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Critical thinking and a collaborative mindset to support continual process improvement.
