Job Description

Prepare cost estimate from feasibility studies / pre-concept to detailed design stage. Interpret and do taking off from architectural / engineering / interior design drawings and specifications for cost estimate. Analyse and reconcile cost movement between various design stages. Prepare tender documents including frontend and pricing schedule. Evaluation of tender returns. Administer post contract for construction works which includes to estimate for changes, assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations and close Final Account. Provide advices on contractual claims. Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the built environment industry Individuals of the highest caliber who are confident, driven and with excellent interpersonal skills Site based, no work-from-home arrangement under normal circumstances. Work independently under limited supervision. Organized and able to handle stress
