About the Roles

We are seeking a skilled

Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Executive

to join our team in the

Building and Construction/Manufacturing (Furniture)

industry, based in

Mandai Estate

. This

permanent position

offers a

5-day workweek

(Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) with a competitive salary package, including

. This role provides an excellent opportunity to manage project budgets and cost controls while overseeing the full project cycle.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage project budgets and cost controls to ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated budget. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from contract award to completion, and prepare final accounts. Develop procurement schedules and lists based on architectural specifications and project timelines. Source and liaise with subcontractors, obtain quotations, evaluate submissions, and prepare subcontract agreements as needed. Track and document defects, manage variation orders (VO), and ensure timely submission of VO costs. Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare monthly progress claims and close final accounts. Review and assess subcontractor VO claims, ensuring that all variations adhere to the proper procedures. Follow up on payment certificates for subcontractors and issue payment advice to clients promptly. Handle progress claims, payments, variation orders, and assist with project finalization. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

A

Diploma

or

Degree

in Quantity Surveying or a related field. At least

2 years of relevant experience

as a Quantity Surveyor. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, along with good knowledge of local standards and requirements.
