About the Roles

We are seeking a

Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Executive

to join a leading building and construction manufacturing company specializing in furniture, located at Mandai Estate. This is a

permanent position

with a 5-day work week (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm). The role offers a competitive package that includes

What You'll Be Doing

Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency. Oversee the entire project cycle from contract award through to final account closing. Prepare procurement schedules and lists in line with project timelines and specifications. Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations, and draft subcontract documents as needed. Record, track, and document variation orders (VO), including timely submission of VO costs. Coordinate monthly progress claims and support the Project Manager in account settlements. Assess subcontractors' VO claims and ensure compliance with procedures. Follow up on payment certificates and prepare payment advice for clients. Handle claims, payments, variations, and final project accounts. Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. At least 2 years of proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor. Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ability to work independently with sound knowledge of local standards and project requirements.
