Job Description

:

• Assist with sales and marketing functions.
• Attend to inbound enquiries with professional etiquette (calls, emails, TMS and Zendesk).
• Build new leads and grow opportunities into long term business relationship.
• Participate in events, networking sessions and roadshows for brand awareness.
• Active support in social media outreach of SMU and SMU Academy activities.
• Ability to handle difficult customers and escalate them if necessary to senior management.
• Manage and minimise class cancellation, maintain a minimum sign up of 10 participants for each course.
• Able to identify marketing channels for programmes, strategic partnerships, and events.
• Understand competitors\xe2\x80\x99 offerings for the same and new programmes and be able to analyse and define market demand.
• Support in creation of GeBIZ quotations.

Qualifications:

• Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Positive mindset and team player.
• Good writing skills and meticulous with proofreading content.
• Excellent time management and organisation
• Able to work in fast-paced and self-directed environment.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
• Good understanding of marketing via various digital platforms.
• Possess good level of written, communication and interpersonal skills.
