Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, execution and supervision of all facilities management, maintenance and operation activities such as building, mechanical and electrical system, cleaning, security, pest control and horticultural, etc.
• General knowledge as well as technical knowledge and effectively implementing good engineering practices including quality, environment, health and safety in the premises
• Provide feedback, formulate and review standard operating procedures relating to facility maintenance and operation for the premises
• Any other duties as assigned by Head of Department and/or the Management

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Estate/ Building/ Facilities Management or equivalent
• At least 3 years relevant Building, Facilities Management experience, preferably in an educational institution environment with minimum 2 years' work experience in a supervisory/ leadership role
• Successful candidate must be qualified with FSM, Bizsafe and OSHA certification
• Familiar with BCA/ SCDF/ WSF/ OSHA/NEA/PUB regulatory requirements, etc.
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Meticulous with contract documentation
• Self-driven, committed individual and a team player
