Job Description

This position report to the Section Head of Hostel Admission Services (HAS). The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient allocation of hostel rooms, managing student inquiries, and delivering data-driven insights to support the University\'s strategic goals and enhance the student housing experience.Duties & Responsibilities;Hostel Coordinator

• Review, coordinate and process hostel applications for assigned hostels.
• Process housing offers in University Hostels Management System (UHMS) for successful applicants by the stipulated timeline.
• Regularly monitor vacancies and occupancy rates for the hostels
• Support and other general administrative duties that may be assigned by the Section Head.

Hostel admission queries

• Assist students\' hostel admission queries via phone and email, while maintaining service standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with students
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve students\' requests swiftly.

Reports & Data Analytics

• Access reports and compile monthly data on Hostel Admission Services
• Perform data analytics to track applications and admissions, spot trends, and predict future outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder with at least three years of working experience, or University degree holder with at least one year of working experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and effectively.
• Works well in a team environment, and demonstrates excellent collaboration skills and attention to details.
• Organised and able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Pro-active to engage stakeholders and students.
• Highly proficient in Excel functions, and competent in using data analytics tools, MS Forms, Qualtrics and other reporting tools.
