This position is for Office of Human Resources & Faculty Administration.
Temp staff hiring/ contracting/ offboarding.
Admin staff hiring/ contracting/ offboarding.
Background screening for admin and research staff.
Administration of new hires onboarding (e.g. raise Start Work Arrangement requests, print staff ID cards, etc).
Check and process invoices from vendors.
Prepare employment and other admin letters; respond to reference check requests.
Provide administrative support for tender matters.
*the successful candidate for this role will only be expected to start work in October/ November 2023
Qualifications:
Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience or Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Candidates who are proficient in SAP HR modules and have experience in recruitment and contracting work would have an advantage.
Good communication skills (both written and oral).
Meticulous; good numeracy skills.
Other Information:
Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
