Job Description

You will be part of the Maintenance team of the Hollandse Club and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full time position, 44 hours, 5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays. The Club is currently unable to support any work passes, therefore this position is only open to local residents who do not require one. The experienced Maintenance Technician: \xe2\x97\x8f Schedules and completes a preventive maintenance program. \xe2\x97\x8f Carries out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements. \xe2\x97\x8f Performs daily start up, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements. \xe2\x97\x8f Performs maintenance work related to mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (acmv) systems, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting. \xe2\x97\x8f Repairs and treats structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors. \xe2\x97\x8f Follows up promptly on maintenance / ad-hoc work orders. \xe2\x97\x8f Assist vendor/stakeholders as and when required \xe2\x97\x8f Is aware of and advises on matters related to Health & Safety. \xe2\x97\x8f Takes daily/ weekly utilities readings. \xe2\x97\x8f Assists in emergencies, firefighting, and emergency evacuation procedures. \xe2\x97\x8f Minor pool maintenance may be required. \xe2\x97\x8f Coordinates special projects as directed. \xe2\x97\x8f Attend to after office hour calls if required \xe2\x97\x8f Any other jobs or assignments as directed by Facilities Manager or Estates Director. Requirements: \xe2\x97\x8f Must possess minimum NTC II/Nitec certificate in facilities/electrical. \xe2\x97\x8f At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in hands on maintenance and repair work \xe2\x97\x8f Experienced in aircon maintenance and minor repair \xe2\x97\x8f Experienced and competent in electrical installation, trouble shooting and electrical parts replacement \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of AV system - set up and installations. \xe2\x97\x8f Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken. \xe2\x97\x8f Resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with people. \xe2\x97\x8f Physically fit and eye for detail. \xe2\x97\x8f Team player and able to work independently. \xe2\x97\x8f Able to work shifts that include weekends and public holidays.
