As a F&B Executive, you will be the person to go to during your shift operations. You will assist in the daily operations of the in room dining and handle guest enquiries to ensure guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, you are able to guide, support and train your team members. You have high sense of responsibility and will ensure food orders get delivered as per guests\' expectations. You are warm and friendly and able to connect with guests and team members readily. Assist Manager with all employee-related matters to ensure productivity for departmental performance (staffing, recruiting, On-The-Job trainings)
Communicate regularly with team members and build good relations
Actively participate in departmental training and give support and feedback
Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during all shifts
Guest Experience
Handle guest complaints professionally and record feedback regularly to respond timely
Make conversation with guests during their order and find out their preferences to build a rapport
Personally meet and farewell a minimum of 80% of your customers
Manage and co-ordinate updates in database to ensure all information are accurate and active
Manage special event concepts
Financial
Work with superior to assist in preparing the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s annual budget and to achieve departmental revenue targets
Assist in forecasting and stock control
Promote hotel facilities and services
Manage food and beverage costs while actively pursuing cost saving measures
Handle all sales and to account for all guest checks
Responsible Business
Adhere to bill paying, opening and closing procedures
Enforce shift hand over procedures
Ensure all procedures are aligned with our hotel\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures and guidelines
Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures
Other ad-hoc duties - unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
Ideally, you have at least a Diploma qualification and have strong passion to accelerate your career in the F&B Industry. You have at least 1 year of experience working in the F&B Service Industry and is able to lead a team.
