We combine the efficiency of hyperscale hardware with infrastructure software from a diversity of industry leaders to solve next-generation data center design and operation challenges. QCT serves cloud service providers, telecoms and enterprises running public, hybrid and private clouds. QCT is looking for a Field Application Engineer (System) to join our team in Singapore. As a Field Application Engineer (System), you will need to perform troubleshooting, system level bench testing, analysis and design optimization for QCT's customers. Your focus is on collaborating with customers and solving their everyday challenges by being an expert in our market segments. Job Responsibilities: Develop deep understanding of QCT's hardware technology, OpenInfra and open source related technology Provide On-site support to customers if needed Co-work with Research and Development OpenInfra and Telco team Understand 3GPP and O-RAN related 5G Spec and Technology Study and research NFV related technology Support Proof of Concept Engage into customer implementation if needed Provide 1st/2nd line of support Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Master is preferred, especially majored in 5G/Mobile, Networking/SDN Minimum 5 years relevant experience in OpenInfra and private/public cloud technology Familiar with 3GPP/LTE/5G related specification and technology Familiar with Telco Network workload (EPC, RAN, 5G NR, 5G Core) is preferred Master in Linux OS(Ubuntu/CentOS/Redhat) is an advantage Familiar with Virtualization Hypervisor Operation Familiar with Python/Shell Script language Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills Good Project management skill Has enthusiasm in CT/IT technology Candidate must demonstrate strong ownership and collaborative nature
