Job Description

Position Summary: This position, Field Service Engineer (FSE) requires the staff to have good inter-personal skill, positive attitude towards work, technically sound in the field of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Instrument Service, forthcoming, self-motivated, good organization skill, resourceful to provide solution to problem, able to work independently and pro-active in handling service matters. The incumbent must also be willing to accommodate to customer\xe2\x80\x99s schedule requests and to provide direct field service support and coverage for our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer Instruments. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in performing on-site installation, validation and commissioning of gas chromatography and mass spectrometer.
• Perform on-site solving, service, preventive maintenance and repairs. Provide on-site customer training
• Process issue and warranty claims timely and accurately to resolve service issues.
• Communicate with multi-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales. Create and maintain service information in the company database Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering with equivalent experience in similar field and industry.
• Good analytical/problem solving skills and adept at multi-tasking
• Effective communication/interpersonal management skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Fluent in the use of relevant technical equipment with an inherent ability to learn new product services rapidly.
• A good great teammate
• Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment
• Willing to travel across Singapore
• May need to travel within SEA
